Roof top installation at Whiston Hospital
First roof top installation challenges Team Pennine! A fabulous new play area has been constructed on the 4th floor of Whiston Hospital for main contractor Taylor Woodrow. The substructures were prepared by Ashlea Construction who co-ordinated the whole project and arranged logistics in moving 10 tonnes of plant and materials into the working area. Deft methods of work were required tolay the 115sqm of wet pour safety surfacing, to accommodate the confines of the courtyard. The finished design features a grey perimeter pathway, water blend within the planters and a large expanse of purple wetpour.
