Multi sports areas provide valuable recreation facilities for inner city districts, small rural communities and of course schools and colleges. They can be constructed to dimensions suiting either your available space, or to specific pitch or court sizes depending on which sports you wish to include – hockey, football, netball, basketball, volleyball and tennis.

Multitop® surfacing is designed specifically for multi-purpose recreation areas and is a continuous, resilient sports surface. The porous polymeric surface provides high-quality play combined with comfort, good grip, minimum risk of injuries and fast drainage after rain.

Multitop® play areas are constructed on an engineered base of porous macadam, laid on crushed rock substructures which gives the surface great stability when faced with severe weather conditions, and maximises its life.

A continuous layer of porous rubber is then laid over the macadam using a specialist paving machine. Finally, a polymeric spray finish is applied ensuring all weather playability and excellent playing characteristics.

Perimetre fencing styles vary according to the usage and customer’s remit, with considerations such as aesthetics, likely vandal levels, sound resistance, and proximity to residents.
